A leading manufacturer of manufacturing equipment for the semiconductor sector is now seeking a Compliance Engineer to join their Bristol site.
As Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing the Design, Production, Test, and Service departments with up-to-date guidance and support to ensure products comply with the latest relevant legislation.
Working with NPI \ Engineering teams you will ensure new products meet the relevant directives and standards.
You will be responsible for the creation, review and updating product Technical File documents.
Further you will conduct risk assessments and assessments to regulatory and industry standards.
Through your work you will identify non-conformities, recommend product, and process changes, initiate Fracas fault reports (FRNs).
As the key contact for Compliance, you will Chair and write up safety reviews.
You will also support UL, CSA and Semi S2 inspections; conduct EMC emission measurements and support EMC immunity testing.
Working with other departments you will develop and maintain product compliance. This will include developing compliance guidelines and training classes for NPI \ Engineering teams.
You will also assist in developing Working Instructions, Test Procedures, and manual content.
There may be occasional requirements to visit, overseas customers and provide necessary support during customer visits to the Bristol site.
Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably required by the Company.
Experience:
As the successful Compliance Engineer, our preference is an individual with an electro-Mechanical background, and experience in semiconductor equipment.
Qualifications:
Ideally you will have achieved an Engineering/Physical Sciences Degree. We are also open to considering candidates with HNC/HND or other relevant formal qualifications.
